Remember: there is a 3D Archery Shoot on the 4th Saturday of each month. The next one will be Saturday August 28th beginning at 9am. This event is open to the public so bring your friends and come try out the new targets. See the Archery Range Page for more information.

Just a friendly reminder to check the individual range pages on your club website. The range page links can be found to the right side of your screen under Ranges. There is often new and important information about that specific range posted on that ranges page that may or may not be put on the main page. Also remember to check out the calendar for scheduled events. The calendar can be found on the left side of you screen.

I would like to encourage everyone to come to the general meetings. This is a great way to find out about possible activities that might interest you. We are always needing people to help organize and support our activities. Come and make your voice heard.

It is the responsibility of each and every member to keep the ranges safe. Make sure you understand and obey all the rules. Each rule is in place for a reason - to keep everyone safe and protect our club's property. If you see someone breaking a rule it is your responsibility to remind them of the rules (which are clearly posted on the ranges) and, if necessary, report them to a club officer. We must never become complacent.. You can review the rules by going to the GENERAL RULES page but remember that each range has its own additional rules which are posted on the range and here on each range page:

The trap shoots are going well. We are averaging about 15 shooters each night. We would like to see some more of you come out. It is also open to the public. So invite a friend and come on out. Check TRAP page for all the info.

The shooting events of the Bluegrass State Games will be held at ACSC again this year. The Smallbore (rimfire) Rifle match will be held on the Rifle range on Sunday, July 11th. The Airgun competition will be held on the PPC range on Saturday, July 17th, and the High Power Rifle Match at the Rifle Range will be on Sunday, July 18th. From Anteaters to Zebras and Everything in Between. An event like no other with Some competition, and 100 outrageous, silly, and down right scary targets. At the R100 you can shoot either 100 targets over two days or 50 targets in only one day. You don't even have to score the targets and you still have a chance at winning the door prizes. All Prizes are distributed by drawing on Sunday at 2:30pm. Prizes total over $6,000 at each event and ANYONE CAN WIN!

The Rifle, Silhouette, PPC and Trap ranges will be closed the 29th and 30th of May during the Rinehart 100 event. There will also be intermittent closures between 8am and 5pm on Wednesday, 26 May, through Friday, 28 May, to allow for setup. Contact Mark, Keith, Noel or Jamey for details.

The first monthly IDPA Style Meet for 2010 will be held Saturday, April 3rd starting at 09:30 am. This meet is open to the public. Bring your defensive pistol and join us at the ppc range. For more information about these matches check out the pistol range page.

Our club charter limits membership to 400 so we have discontinued accepting applications for new memberships as well as renewals from past members. The last opportunity to renew or join this year was on January 14th. New membership applications will not be considered until January of 2011.
